To Create a New Report, click on the New Report icon .

Once here, you will need to select the data source.  For this example, let's select "Group A Arrest Data" and then click "OK".

A new screen will appear and you will need to select the area that you want to include in your report.  If you want to run a report on a specific agency, you will need to click the left plus icon () next to the region that agency is in.  For this example, let's run the report on Athens Police Department.  They are located in McMinn County in East Tennessee so click on the left plus icon next to "East" and then the left plus next to "McMinn".  When you see Athens Police Department on the list, put a check mark in the box next to it by clicking in that box.  If you click the View Table Icon (), the report will show the number of arrests in Athens Police Department's jurisdiction for the calendar year 2004.  You will notice on the left side of the screen that "Jurisdiction" is selected under Dimensions.  You can add more dimensions to your report by clicking on any of the categories listed on the left.

Let's see the number of arrestees over the age of 18 for the offense of Simple Assault.  First click on "Arrestee Age" and select "18 and over".  Then click on "Arrest Offense" and select "Simple Assault".  Simple Assault is a Crime Against Person so you will have to expand that section by clicking on the left plus icon.  When all your criteria have been selected, click .

You can change your criteria, look at different agencies, crimes, ages, etc.  Each selection of different criteria will create a new report.  If you select more than one of the same criteria (i.e., two police departments) you can also look at a chart that will show a visual comparison of the two.
